already do it !
the Pintail seat unit also has a thin mini black fender that mounts off the swing arm and so sits 5mm from the tire..
Flat out working on your order today,, its -4 in the barn and have to walk 2 miles to get there but its still a lot of fun,, first box should be out next week to you,, will mail you soon

ok,, the denim paint is Harley and it marks real easy so do be carefull,, its meant to be like a faded pair of jeans according to HD bull,, but to me its just a PITA !
the Struts you got are triple coated mirror black powder,, so they have been through the ovens three times!
This makes the coating extremely thick and durable,, you can hit it with cutting polish all day long and you will just get a smoother and smoother gloss finish

fades like a pair of jeans....now thats some good marketing... .. dont get me wrong the demin looks sick...but the littleest thing scratches it...but i think the rear fender paint is more scratch resistant then the stock tins..could be nuts..

well what we do is powder the fender first and then hit it with Denim Black HD paint,, we have found that doing it over a powder base makes it more durable..
but like you say its a crap bloody paint and marks so easy,, i have panic attacks every time i package a seat/fender up and mail it off !!!

hey dizz i dont yet... im getting my hubs re spoked with bigger rims and my whole front end is apart and getting powder coated right now so the wheels are off..i wanted a more slammed look in the rear...i will tell you this tho...once i put 11" shocks on there it did lower it a considerable amount..this fender changes the whole dynamic of this bike...i saw on another post u were thinkin about doing something with your fender..i considered just chopping it but with tose long fender struts it just doesnt do much.....i see the look of ur bike (which looks really cool by the way)...the rocket bobs fender would definitly complete it. im hoping to et my stuff back from powder this week...as soon as it is all on im going to take alot of pics..if you get the fender and need help pete (rocked bobs sk8) is great..it was not a hard proccess at all if you take your time...i cant wait to get my bike parts back...waiting is killin me!

i tell you i cant wait for those pix.. Lisa is on standby to post em up
Dizzz i wanna point out that Pauls fender was cut for him, its 2" longer than the one pictured on my Bob etc and how the are produced by us.
the fender line normally runs straight out from the point of the strut, if you check the pic above you will see i started the fender line below the point of the strut and a little ways back,, this is to carry the extra length and to keep the right line of the Voodoo kit once fitted and looking at the bike normally,,
I am really happy with the longer fender,, Paul originally wanted 4" over and it was giving me real problems, in fact i scratch built 2 other fenders for him before i kinda begged him to go just 2" over
but ya know, theres enough fender there for any passenger IMO,, but really i just like to style for the bike and not for luggage or whatnot.. i just want killer lookin bikes

the size that i had done for me fits a passenger pillion and just enough room from the tip of the seat to the fender to not look like the person is sittin on the wheel...it really looks great..i dont ride 2 up alot but i didnt want to be restricted to never be able to...it is definitly a solid product tho..changed the whole look of my bike..

Na...really dig the fender! The only thing I'm worried about is that I want to use my stock rear mag (although I have a set of spoked wheels) but want it to sit down on the tire. I have short progressive shocks, but is that low enough without going with a 18" rim? This is the fender set up that I want....just concerned with the height.

each fender kit comes with two shims that raise the fender up should you want to go 18" or really low etc..
so i can make a kit for you thats lower than normal, but with the shims you can raise it up should you need to..
ya see, you aint running the OEM seat, so i dont have to worry about the stock seat mount
If i made yours 1/2" lower than usual, you should be totally slammed

I would probably want it so I could use a stick seat if I wanted...but want it low enough that it doesn't look like a damn dirt bike Lets do this! When I get back, the struts are coming off!

its not a problem,, i can supply a longer bolt so OEM seats still mount..
Also today we finished off the design of our seat that goes with the fender and its pretty cool..
So basically,, i can work with you on any custom setup to get it looking how you want..

Thanks Buddy,, appreciated...
the new seat is kinda different,, not sure how its gonna go down,, i really dig it and the way it mounts is way cool,, means i can keep the short seat look that i dig,, ya know all that crap of a seat that rides way up into the tank just aint right on a Bob type..
i like a gap from tank to seat and from seat to tire..
anyway,, i was wresting for ages with how to mount this thing,, so folks could just fit it straight on, no hassle and in the end it was my wife who figured out the design ,, kinda cool she has an engineering degree also !!
ok, so there are gonna be two designs, a conventional flat style and a "cafe racer" type styley,, only not,,
