Fabrication details!! Home built or Small shop back alley diy. Not a for sale thread.
So heres the deal. There has to be a few other chopper jockeys out there! I think we should have a thread to show case the stuff we make. I dont care if its just oil tank mounting tabs. Or if some one made some thing for their bagger. Lets see some home build and small shop details! Ive been posting up just about every thing Ive been up to on my for sale thread so Im gonna try to wait for some one else to kick off the pics. But I might not wait long! So lets see what you got! Details please.

Biggest problem is I got no detail shots of what I have done on my bike, and its in boxes. All I have is my commercial stuff. I want every body to feel comfortable to post their fab work regardless of skill! Sometimes it takes many to figure it out. If you welded a Fab Kevin dual caliper bracket onto your hard tail I would like to see it. If you made the bracket I really want to see it! Any home done detail no matter how small. And one and two man shops if the post isnt self promoting directly. What the hell. Lets see what people are really up to. Other than bolting up stuff! But forums also exist to learn and grow from. So if something looks unsafe dont be put out if some one points it out. Consider it and try to learn. No one here is in the forum to just flame and cut one down for no reason. Sk8 I think your up! Maybe Bosken? But who ever wants to bat next go for it!

Its really funny you guys are all about the street bobs. Thats the only stock bike pic I have ever hung up! You two kick out some killer stuff. That fender looks tits with the limp dick tail light! Air cleaner cover is f-in perfect and Sk8's seat pan straight blows my mind! Killer attention to details on your bob btw! Rulers for sure man!

Making z type bars man... Like in these pics they look off. But all the angles are dead nuts on. They drive you mad! The first set I made got em finished up and on the bike. Walked by the next day and they looked off. Swore they were but couldnt figure out how I f-ed up. Moved into a real garage instead of a drafty leaky leaning barn and now they look fine. Optical illusions are really a mind blower some times!

LMAO good to know someone else is sufferin !! I spent two days straight measuring the rocker with verniers, laser levels, fck anything I could think of. The whole symetrical thing drives you f kin nuts, ya gettotally obsessed and never stop starin even when ya done it and got it sorted!!
I know the first thing I'll do when I fit the fender is step back and check it's still in line
and yeah, old Boskens work is neat as a pin
And one more thing.... I'm still in a leaky barn

Man that tail light is tits! Got a tiny old turn signal off some jap bike that will be used some day... Wont look as ace as that though. And just for the record I moved from a leakey barn to a leakey shop just alittle less of a rust factory. lol.

If its home fabricated lets see it! I dont care if its not quite the finish you were looking for lets see it! I know Sk8 and Bosken's stuff is tits! Im not even sure about seeing my stuff in the same thread with theirs. but Ill toss ya some more. Got alittle older stuff Ill throw in soon. Hell Sk8's runnin a high end shop and hes posting lets see what you guys have done! And I know some of you guys runnin baggers just cant leave well enough alone...

Heres some detail of the plate/brake mount I made almost five years ago now. Rethinking the whole thing now. But it was simple and mean. That light was alot less cliche then... Yeah thats some of my low end for sure though.

Great shots man,, just love seeing this stuff. The gear your postin is awesome man, tough to stay with you !
Gonna dig up more chit today, but this thread won't ever die, we'll keep it rolling. IMO it's the type of thread we've been missing here.
Don't want to put other folks off with the level you're hitting tho, so any parts you guys out there have fabbed up, don't matter how simple, post up
