Shenyang China charity riding --Meri Snow Mountain

Along the steep mountain road, we speed to the high altitude. Today's destination is the sacred mountain in the Tibetan's heart---Meri Snow Mountain, we had long for it for a long time. Althoigh it's only 6,000m altitude high, no man in the world had conquered it before. No one has ever reached to the top. An mountain accident happened ten years ago claimed all 17 lives of a mountaioneering expidition. No one dare to challenge it till now. More mysteriously, most of the time, Meri snow mountain hide itself from the world in the clouds. Few people has the luck to see the whole of it. Our team has the luck to have a face-to-face time with it. We live in a hotel just in its opposite. the nest day, it showed itself behind light frog. We were just thrilled, taking put our cameras to catch its beauty. The sunlight at early morning is called "sunlight over golden mountain". Guys, just take a look slowly.

pix below are Marnie Piles means The aspiration, ambition, love and hope carved into the stones.
On the Marnie Piles, there are stone slates or rocks carved Marnie scriptures like" six syllable mantra prayer"　or "six syllable secret charms" of Ben cult. There are also some feather arrows and the horns or the whole skulls of sheperd, antelop and yak. In Tibet region, the Marnie piles are piled with small and big stones, shaped in square or round, there are sticks and branches in the rock, with ropes tied to it and the other end tied to another tree or cliff. On the sticks and ropes, there are colorful Exorcism decorations like wind horse line, hada, colorful thread and white wool.
When luckly time and days come, people will burn the aromatic plant while adding stones to the piles. They will touch the stones with their forehead, murmuring pray song in heart, then throw the stones to the pile. With time goes, the Marnie pile become bigger and higher. Every stone has the pray of the believers.

Yep. Looks there would be plenty of Super 8s and Walmarts along the way

I don't know if it is 'funny' actually. Picture this:

Peter riding up the mountain, refusing to pack an extra jacket ... or even a change of clothes, or a sandwich. Now it's raining or snowing and he doesn't care, he just rides on through. He's a tough guy alright, but when the night gets freezing or raining and the rest of you are cruising behind your windshields with extra jackets on, and ready to roll out a tent or blanket and grab a sandwich from the bags ... Good old Peter is shivering in the wind with nowhere to find shelter ... or even change his underwear ... or eat ... He's wet, very wet, but he's tough and pushes on through...

This story could go on and on with poor wet, cold, hot, sweaty, freezing Peter in many different situations ... all without proper supplies or equipment ... you get the idea ... but he doesn't
